4 Apps for Developing Musicians
Using technology to our advantage…
Today, technology gets a bad rap.
By technology, we mean smartphones, tablets, and any gadgets of the sort. Often when we go out to a restaurant, or out in public with friends, we see tons of people, adults and children, staring at their gadgets. We have even seen entire families sitting together and not talking with one another!
In this day in age, technology is everywhere. We are practically glued to our smartphones and other devices; watching shows, videos, listening to music, and just about anything else you can think of.
Yes, we should put our devices down from time to time, as it is very important to take a break from our technology. However, we now have the opportunity to use our smartphones and iPads to our advantage.
We know there are many uses for our devices, but one use that many people may not know about is music making. There are endless ways to create your own music, and you can even do it as a family!
Here is a list of some useful and free apps that anyone can use.
1. Garageband

Garageband is a free app on iPads, iPhones, and Macs. It’s a great software that you can do practically anything imaginable with. It comes with plenty of software instruments to experiment with, and you can even use a virtual keyboard.
However, if you are not sure what to do, you can very easily record yourself and listen back. This is super useful for practising, and can give any musician the opportunity to hear how they sound!
2. EasyBeats Drum Machine MPC

You can do a lot with this software, but if you are simply looking to make a beat with just your fingers, it does the job!
3. My Piano Phone

Maybe you don’t own a keyboard, or maybe you’re out of the house and get that itch to play! This is a very simple, and easy to use app with tons of different sounds at your finger tips. Anyone can just touch the keys and make music!
