asim began taking piano lessons in her home country of Iran at a young age. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from the Isfahan University of Technology.   While pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree, she couldn’t ignore her love for art and music. She began working with children and discovered a unique ability to observe and delve into the depth of others’ emotions and needs. This realization inspired her to integrate her musical knowledge and empathic skills to change her career path.

Nasim has over 15 years experience as a music teacher, working in school settings and facilitating group and individual lessons both in Iran and in Toronto.  She employs various methods, including play-based and child-centered approaches. Singing, playing instruments, and engaging in activities within music are integral parts of her lessons, which helps to motivate and engage students in music and their learning.

Nasim aims to create a safe space for all students to explore their emotions, enhance their self-awareness, and unleash their creativity.

INSTRUMENTS TAUGHT: Piano, Rudiments Theory, Orff Music Classes, Adapted Music Lessons.
